In conclusion; the movie Barry Seal handling American policy emphasizes that Medellin cartel had carried their drugs from Colombia, Panama and Nicaragua to USA by plane and earned 500.000 dollars per flight. Not only that, it also unfolds the execution of Seal by the cartel because of double-crossing Pablo Escobar. So, all these cause Barry Seal’s life become so complicated. It is also necessary not to forget that he carried guns to the enemies of communist regime!
There is a very important news about the movie Barry Seal which was the 3rd biographic film of Tom Cruise (the first was Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and the second was Valkyrie (2008)), and it is that: On 11th September 2015, the last shooting day of the movie, stunt pilot Alan D. Purwin and Venezuelan co-pilot Carlos Berl lost their lives because of the plummet of their tiny twin-engine plane Aerostar during fog in Andes (near Medellin, Colombia). It is very bad for the film to have its way intersect with a sad event like this one.
Well, why the movie that its last scene was shot in 2015 came to the theaters in 2017? Rumor has it that script of the movie had taken place on the black lists of the scripts of the films which were mostly admired and were not seen yet.
We came to the two negative sides of the movie… First is that Tom Cruise who spoke Spanish in some scenes of the movie failed the Spanish class. Note: As Spanish is a difficult language because of Accent, Cruise must highly get troubled with that. Second problem is Pablo Escobar issue that wasn’t given enough importance in the film… It is supposed that the audience knew Pablo Escobar well, the ones who didn’t know him aren’t considered.
Consequently, taking guilty ones and the issues about them to the forefront, Barry Seal is seriously stating how important to keep the record of those guilty ones was, and that sometimes it was necessary for people to throw themselves into the fire to bring the truth into light and even to put their hands under the rock[ii] bravely. It is one of the attention-grabbing elements of the story that the American politician and actor who served as the president of USA between the years 1981-1989 was hooked to the film…
